> Do you guys have any tips for estimation? Stick to your guns when Sales tries to get you to change your estimate (and they will). Tell them they can discount the project, or change any other variable they need to satisfy the customer, but don't ever let them touch the time estimate. Not really a tip for making the time estimate, but keep your ass covered once you do. |
