"If you are interested in accent modification, you can contact a speech-language pathologist. Accent modification is not provided in the medical setting, so try a private practician or a nearby university that has a graduate program in communication disorders or speech-language pathology. Not every program will have a therapist with this type of experience. I know that Emerson College used to have an experience accent mod therapist, though that may have changed.
