These companies work for NASA, NASA wants do research. Their tech enables that research. SpaceX uses that money to lower the price of space flight for everybody and enables a whole lot of other companies to do new things in space. SpaceX themselves does things like Starlink. SpaceX also shares materials tech with Tesla that get used in their products. It will also anable real exploration of Mars and the outer Solar System. |
