Ask HN: Any thoughts on using No Code for MVPs?
1 points by kelly_obrien 1792 days ago
I’m working with a UX/UI designer for my app and recently found there are some No Code options(Bravo Studio, Bubble, Abstra)to test my MVP.

I’m curious if anyone has any experience with going this route for building an app.

As long as the time you spend thinking about it or doing it does not subtract from time spent talking to potential customers and solving the problems they will pay to get solved, yeah, do it..
Just do it.
Alright! Sounds like Nike, I’m in.
Really don't overthink it.

Historically "no code" products run out of steam at some point. I don't believe that has to be the case but, just as the Wright brothers discovered there were six degrees of freedom you need to control to fly, somebody is going to put the essential elements together some day.

Given that there is so much ferment you can learn more from attempting a prototype and taking the risk that you might have to make another prototype than you can from carefully studying the competitive landscape.

You’re absolutely right! Thanks for the feedback.
