To you, maybe yeah! I've learned to use this heavily only after around 2 years of using nothing else but C++, and many of my colleagues don't even consider this. You'd hope it's programming 101 - but it seems like barely anyone takes any courses on programming practices before writing 10k+ lines of code that I have to then go and maintain. |
