Meh, +%80 of the wealthy are first generation people who made it themselves. In the recent past it was a lower number. I would say it's getting better in that one aspect. Inequality has more causes than inter-generational wealth and a lack of an estate tax. Canada for example is a more economically equal society and does not have an estate tax AFAIK. |
