I think it is the fact that the Amiga platform was in advance on its time. A lot of amiga owners clinged to their Amiga waiting for the next revisions to eat the world. When the PC platform took over it was a step backward. All those projects are a way to rewrite history for the fans: see we could have had an amiga in pc form factor, see we could use the web, see we could have had graphic accelerators... And the fact that today it is possible to do is a fun in itself. |
