Keep an eye for people on social media who you think would be of help to you, and just politely ask them if they would be your advisor or know someone who would be. It works! Not immediately, but people do respond with either Yes, or they redirect you to someone they know, or they politely say they currently don't have the bandwidth. Keep trying. It does not take long before someone responds with a Yes.
