At a guess, a super-rich teenager in the Netherlands lives very close to a wide range of shops (i.e. in a city centre), and isn't at all price sensitive. If he wants anything, he walks or cycles to a shop in under 5 minutes and buys it.
His family or father might use a PA for some purchases.
(I am much more surprised when people here say they make online purchases several times a week. I make an online purchase about every 3 months.)
Even normal people barely use Amazon since it only recently launched last year there and we have other well working alternatives online.
And yes Dutch also like to order a lot of things online. It is just easier to set up services like Amazon locally in such a densely populated country with good infrastructure that we did not needed Amazon to compete.
Amazon Netherlands only launched on March 10th 2020.
Here we mostly use bol.com which is so ingrained that Amazon long time did not see a reason to compete.
