The killer app of VR has always been virtual sex. We have made no progress towards this. You can't do reality with just sight and sound. I suspect a 100 years from now people will look at us talking about the metaverse and virtual reality with any kind of headset as ridiculous as the old videos of people flapping wings attempting to fly. It just doesn't work. |
