From talks I have watched, China is dumping money into quantum computing because Jian-Wei Pan and his team are genius.

I don't think China has the same problems we do that people are worried about "hype" and all this nonsense.

Jian-Wei Pan said they want to use their photon QC device and boson sampling to solve graph theory problems.

I don't understand boson sampling enough to know if it makes sense for graph theory but obviously they have some ideas in mind. Quantum graph theory, quantum network science ideas I suppose.

The video I watched also has 600 views and the only comment is if you can use a photon quantum device to mine bitcoin.

That is a cultural problem we have, not a problem with science that humans have.
