I grew up in Norway in the 90’s, and at that time even here most people had at most one computer at home for the whole family. My father had a couple of books that were written by Lynda Weinman, one about HTML and one about graphics for the web. I read those books, and with pen and paper I would some write some rudimentary HTML. A couple of years later I finally got a computer of my own and started typing out HTML in Notepad and getting to see the result in Internet Explorer. This was part of the early beginning of my fascination with computers. Today I am a software developer, writing applications on macOS, iOS, FreeBSD and Linux :) |
