Wow, I never used AWS or any cloud, but these transfer prices do seem to be a big ripoff. $89 for 1 TB at best? In many parts of the world you can get residential broadband 3-5x cheaper that would be perfectly capable of transferring 1 TB in a month - this price on the ISP side INCLUDING last mile investment and maintenance, customer support, marketing AND peering with other ISPs. Totally bonkers. |
