You are allowed to do practically anything. I'm just stating that I don't think it's an improvement to replace battle-hardened well understood abstractions for half-baked new ones you have to learn on every new project. People running away from "bloated frameworks" very often end up reimplementing a significant portion of the bloat. But usually with fewer ressources and fewer testing, so you can guess what happens most of the time... |
