Yeah I agree. I was trying to be a protonmail customer, but there was just too much friction. In addition to the subpar UI, I was trying to import my (admittedly large) gmail mailbox into Protonmail, and it just did not work. I let it run for days, had to restart it, repeated the process for weeks, and after about 4 weeks I just had to give up… It’s a shame because I really appreciate the security aspects of it, and the fact that they’re a small company / underdog. But there’s just too much friction. |
