Life kept throwing various curve balls at me: I got married, had a daughter, lost a loved one after a prolonged battle, underwent major health issues, battled COVID… ^this made me cringe a bit. personally, it makes me sad when i hear someone describe family or commitments as obstacles to work. i'm sure i've done it in the past, but personally, i think it warrants examination. |
