This is for long term storage. SSD has 0 benefits over spinning rust. and is still more expensive. I can buy decent spinning rust 10TB disk anywhere, if i want that in ssd's, id need 5 drives, or start hinting for enterprise grade equipment. So for me for raw storage (if you need more than a couple of TB's) spinningg rust is still the winner. |
