I use the OS’s native screenshot functionality[1] and just paste it directly to the note. The only thing I need to remember is to assign the attachment folder, so that the image ends up in the correct place. If you move the note or the attachment/image file via Obsidian’s own file browser, all links are updated automagically. [1]
