You might be perfectly suited for a devops-style of job. As a developer working on business-related tasks your net contribution might even be negative with this attitude (because if you don't understand the business and you are not even interested in understanding it then the only tasks you can do yourself must be so small and so well specified that it (the specification) might take more time than doing the task itself). |
