Having been on the receiving end of shares, devs are in an extremely bad position to estimate their valuation. It’s like being a passenger on a train and being asked to judge which direction it goes. And I’m a product-oriented dev who loved the business side and loved doing plenty of UX interviews. Being now on the donating end of shares, employees know much better how to value the gross pay. |
