That's because it tests for IQ goals (like selling more stuff), not EQ goals (like whether you and others feel connected, stable, etc).

The first comment hits the nail on the head "My question is why was emotional intelligence used in a study of sales and not in job fields, like say social work, where it is more imperative?".

Apparently those who designed those tests didn't have enough IQ (or EQ) to see this...
