A trap the company I work for got caught in for a long time was not realizing we had transitioned from "start up" to "small business." We aren't growing like a hockey stick. We never will. We are moderately profitable, fill a small market niche, and are providing predictable income for ten people and their families. That's something to be proud of. But if you are stuck comparing yourself to the VC backed people down the street, it can feel a lot like failure. |
