I get that this is the von Neumann architecture. What I don't get is how not understanding it connects to not wanting WASM or JITs in your web browser. Note also that the author explicitly mentions they are not that concerned with JavaScript performance and would instead prefer a supposed simpler and easier to understand interpreter. |
