That in this case deadly consequences outside India is terrible, but it does limit the scope of the relevance to other atrocities. * The events (outside India, at least) were several decades ago. * Most important, the Sikhs who committed these crimes did not believe or claim that their religious belief is the only legitimate one in the world, and did not try to extend their ideology's reach across a large portion of the world, with the ultimate goal of the entire world under their control. |
