Has Microsoft publicly made it clear that the true reason for the tpm requirement is all about shepherding all users into the windows App Store? As in users might be allowed to install non App Store programs for a while, but the operating system will give complaint/hassle dealings and require the user to go through several extra steps (aka macis).
Some future windows releases will likely be licked to only allow Microsoft App Store-signed apps. |
