Cancer radiologist here! I don't know about "highly accurate", but certainly pretty fucking good. Because for most of those cancers for most populations, the asymptomatic detection rate is much, much lower. Like close to 0%. There is no general population screening test for, say, pancreatic cancer or ovarian cancer etc. |
