If you are not desperate for the Job simply say, I am sorry but that is not in the range that works for me. If you want me my desired salary is firm at 70k. No is a powerful word so use it if you are ok with the possibility of not getting the job. The reality is you should have asked for at least 80 so you had room to negotiate. |
