Absolutely loved Costa Rica when I visited several years ago. It is on my list of places to go back.

However, I was saddened to see litter all over some of the beaches I went to.

when did you go? One of the most impressive things in Costa Rica is that they are really careful with litter and very big on recycling and banning single-use plastics.
