I know strong women in security. I cringe when I see “awards” for women in IT. It’s like they are saying “congrats for your success even though your a woman!”

I’ll go one more. Pride month. Who you care to love is meaningless within the context of our professional relationship. I don’t care. Isn’t that the goal?

Ya I mean, clearly there are women in cyber security but I mean, I'm non-confrontational and I know that wouldn't be a good fit for me. Unless I knew the woman was up to it I certainly wouldn't recommend most of my female acquaintances to go into just for, say, the money. It must suck being the one to delay a deployment because of risks, or being a road block all the time.
