Apple has been laying the groundwork bit by bit since 2019, but there’s also lots of AR today, just not in “the metaverse” sense as discussed here quite yet. Snapchat filters, AirTags and UWB, and Google Lens are some of the most popular examples right now. Anything that adds a digital layer to the physical world via a computing device, is AR. |
