All of this seems a bit dubious to me considering your previous description of having simply scraped and mass-emailed all the hiring managers on Crunchbase, and Apple employees don't (I don't think) tend to use icloud email addresses that they're comfortable publishing as a point of contact for a testimonial.

1. RE icloud email: That's his personal icloud email so it's unassociated with Apple.

2. RE is this a funnel into the tweet thread: Nope. I do think that's a really good strategy but doesn't tend to work for the best companies.

The main difference with this new approach is we write super tailored messages for you and go for decision makers, whereas the crunchbase approach I published is non-personalized and targets generic company email addresses.

Does that make sense?
