I believe the category name is 'headless CMS' and you're looking for SaaS, not SASS. https://www.contentful.com/ isn't new but they do regular job ads in the who-is-hiring so you might have seen them there. Their website seems to market to website owners while https://forestry.io/ seems to market to developers.

Ah yes- thanks! I appreciate the clarification- and I edited my typo. I was imagining something more lightweight than your average headless CMS, but upon further consideration, what I'm looking for certainly lands under that category nonetheless.
