As a full stack developer who works on tons of PHP and Laravel projects…I don’t care. It’s the 3rd thing I install on every new machine: Firefox, Homebrew, then latest version of PHP. This will have an effect on developers who create tools that rely on PHP but I’m not sure how big of a market that I’m really is so ok. |
