"Steps that employers can take, the experts said, include allowing staff to set their own schedules, checking in with them to monitor well-being, designating meeting-free days and proactively addressing microaggressions or rude workplace behavior" You're not going to stop burnout with "meeting-free days". You have to stop doing meeting driven process altogether. And most of the microagressions and rude behaviors are coming out of too many meetings as well. And for god's sake don't schedule 1-1 meetings to monitor for well being - that just adds another meeting onto the pile! |
