QAnon is mostly an amalgamation of beliefs already commonly held by the extremist fringe of Evangelical Christianity and other right-wing Christian sects, and is based on a Christian apocalyptic worldview. It exists to play on Christian fears of the temporal, secular world being run by vast Satanic conspiracies arrayed against them.

It couldn't exist in a world without Christianity.
