MacOS Monterey seems to support their hardware back to early 2015 / late 2014, according to Wikipedia.

Which Macs that are six years old are being dropped?

MacBook 12 inch 2015 is no longer supported. Disappointing, it would probably run fine on mine.

I see their logic -- that was a famously underpowered computer (but delightfully compact). The same-year MacBook Air[1] blows its specs away, for instance.

It looks like this year they've finally dropped support for all nVidia equipped hardware.

My Late 2014 15" MacBook Pro is finally at the end of it's run.
