We all know that scanned paper is the correct editor.
Paper, really? Rune stones still link us to our Viking ancestors, cuneiform tablets still link us to Gilgamesh, there is just no way paper can beat silicon (plus a few other elements).
But does that mean that silicon is the preferred editing environment, or merely the most reliable storage format?
Scanned paper can be mimicked with these newfangled tablets and pens. Your best bet for the one true editor is ed, the standard text editor!
