The foundations listed are basically political entities. When you or I make political donations, we have to do it with post-tax money. Why shouldn't the wealthy have to do the same?

If I give money to the NRA, the EFF or NARAL it's all tax deductible. That's what all the people mentioned are doing.

Plenty of better modern firearms lobbyist groups to give to besides the corrupt dinosaur that is the NRA.
