"Two-thirds of people who file for bankruptcy cite medical issues as a key contributor to their financial downfall." Those issues can absolutely include direct costs, but they also include things like not being able to work, needing a lot of day to day help, and other things that increase costs and reduce income even if the actual medical costs were largely covered. |
