Yes. 16gb ram, 1tb ssd MacBook air. 11.4 solved the issue, but I have now a laptop with 14% SSD wear. And an irreplaceable SSD.

How long have you had yours? I've had an M1 MBA for about 2 1/2 weeks, doing pretty standard dev work (mostly Docker and Rails) and I'm still at 0%.
