What does an NDA-encumbered GPL document mean in practice? You're allowed to spread the document, but not tell anyone where you got it from? I once received a library under a modified Apache 2.0 license, where all the conditions under section 4 (attribution, etc.) were just inverted for a given number of years (effectively an NDA), after which the normal Apache 2.0 would apply. Which worked because it came straight from the original copyright owners, but here I assume AOL weren't. |
