+1 to the meetup issue. Thankfully, most meetups in NYC are in Manhattan or near-Brooklyn. Most times it'll be a 30 minute passive commuting commitment anywhere you go, so it's definitely better than bay area. I lived in the East Bay, and it was such a pain to go to any Silicon Valley anything. |
