Somehow this kind of writing irritates me a lot. Maybe it is because they present their view as ideal for everyone's use cases? Then again, I am also quilty on the same thing. As I curse the modern design, when it hides technical information. <Random rant>
Operating systems and boot messages. Why these need to be hidden? It does not require any user action, but provides valuable information when things go bad. And those freaking spinning progress indicators, that do not tell if the progress is actually happening or working thread has crashed or got locked. Everything is connected to some company's server and dark patterns are everywhere. And it feels like all the sites are designed for showing no actual information only full hd carousels with stock images. </Random rant> |
