I find stack overflow to be the absolute best resource for experienced software engineers.

However for anyone who has less than 10 years of experience, it's outright hostile. If you ask too many stupid questions in a row you just get banned. While I understand this is a very good quality control measure, unless someone's being racist or otherwise belligerent, a permanent ban is a bit harsh. I found much more help using the unity forums, and some parts of Reddit
