For good reason. When I get a plan stamped by an Engineer I want to make sure they're certified to make sure my thing doesn't fall over / collapse. I am a Software Developer - I did not graduate from an Engineering college. I am not an Engineer. The stuff I do does not kill people when it fails. 99% of people that claim to be Engineers (at least in Software) are not. |
