You can lookup their whois on the GoDaddy site, at the bottom there is a form to contact the owner. Just select the research/other option. The owner will receive an email that you’re trying to contact them about their domain and it will tell them what your email is. Question is, will they email you back. But that’s the only free way I believe. I don’t really see a reason to use the brokerage service. You can’t include a message unfortunately telling them exactly why you’re reaching out to them.
