No matter how many boxes of chocolates an admin receives, he/she will not be able to activate Google Profiles for his users... it just isn't possible.

It's been a known problem for quite some time, but now made much more noticeable via the introduction of Google+.

Not providing new features to the few paying customers Google has is a head-scratcher, but it's something most Google Apps admins have probably gotten pretty used to by now. Blaming these paying customers in front of their userbase takes this practice to a whole new level, chocolates or not.
