I took a 5 1/2 month break to recover from burnout and find a job I didn't hate. After a couple of months or so, my brain stopped associating my skills to my previous job, and I was able to learn some new stuff that paid off later on. They key to recovery for me was finding that sweet spot where I was being productive again without putting too much pressure on myself. |
