My wife and I retired in 1998 and moved to the mountains (Sedona AZ). Since then I have worked onsite at Google and Capital One, otherwise did occasional consulting gigs remotely and worked briefly for two companies remotely. I haven't been bored for too long since boredom is a trigger for getting some work. We are in a relatively inexpensive area to live which helps financially.

I would rather leave some money on the table and have more free time.
