Any advice on finding an angel investor?

I developed an app FourHere (fourhere.com) on the Google and Apple stores, that I want to turn into a business. I'm an ex-Apple, ex-Tesla, and ex-Google software engineer. Email: tfmontague@gmail.com

Constructive advice:

1. I can’t tell what “fourhere.com” does from your link. Link to a landing page or executive summary of your business. The current link is ineffective and will not impress investors.

2. Investors look for businesses that have already been organized, not a person looking to organize a business. You will need to do that first. If you need money, look to friends and family or grants first.

3. Read the lean startup approach and everything you can find on the web by Steve Blank, Paul Graham and Jason Calacanis.

4. The most important thing to an investor: team. The team (not one person) must have business savvy and domain experience and expertise. In other words, if you want to start a bakery, then investors want to know that you have been working in a bakery for 5-10 years.

5. Investors want to see traction. Even if you are not generating revenue, try to show metrics that are increasing over time: views, downloads, usage time, referrals, comments, click-throughs, etc.

Thanks for the feedback. FourHere is a mobile app, that helps people meet in small groups at local restaurants.

I have a business degree, and software background of 8+ years with Apple, Google, and Tesla. I'm in the process of looking for an angel investor who can help with growth.

Hit up former coworkers in tech who have hit it big financially and are looking for a place to park their money other than the stock market or crypto.

A few conversations should help you get a friends and family round going with 5-10 people, each writing small checks.

I've written one angel check and this is how I went about doing it. I'll write checks for people I've worked with who are striking it out on their own.

Thanks for the advice
Why do you need an Angel Investor right now ? Serious question.
Thanks for the question. FourHere is a mobile app that helps people meet at local restaurants. I put the app on the stores before the pandemic hit, so timing here is because local restaurants are starting to re-open. I believe an angel investor could help me accelerate the growth of the business. I already can afford to fund the app myself, so seed funding is not the primary concern, it's more having someone with experience who can help secure funding and grow the user base.
